Job summary

Regions Bank in Cedar Falls, Iowa, seeks a Mortgage Loan Officer to originate residential loans through our branch network. You will complete applications, evaluate requests, communicate progress, and ensure compliance with lending guidelines.

This commission-based role includes networking with referral partners, realtors, builders, and financial planners to develop new business and maintain client relationships. NMLS registration is required. Full-time position in the Cedar Falls area.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• One year of mortgage lending experience with proven production.
• Experience developing external business via referral partners (realtors, builders, financial planners).
• University degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completes mortgage applications for submission to loan processing and underwriting.
• Evaluates loan requests and analyzes financial data to determine qualification of collateral and credit history.
• Maintains contact with loan customers and communicates loan progress.
• Structures loans to comply with lending practices and Federal regulations.
• Develops detailed marketing plans and maintains contacts with potential clients.
