You will reconcile commissions, prepare monthly statements, review rates, update profiles, and assist management with analyses. A Bachelor's degree is preferred and at least two years in accounting or insurance is required; proficiency with accounting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in accounting or the insurance industry.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Review producer and administrative commissions reported by agency systems.
• Run monthly reports and verify rates and calculations against company standards.
• Prepare and distribute final commission statements monthly.
• Prepare journal entries and reconcile to GL balances.
• Provide payroll/AP with payment information and support inquiries.
• Update employee profiles to reflect compensation agreements.
