Job summary

American Senior Benefits, an Integrity company, is seeking a Commissions Accounting Manager to lead a 10–15 person team and ensure accurate, timely commissions for agents. You will review statements, reconcile payments, and generate essential reports for leadership and carriers.

The role requires strong Excel skills, accounting acumen, and prior experience in insurance commissions. A four-year degree in mathematics, accounting, or related field is preferred, with CPA helpful and a focus on

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in Mathematics or Accounting preferred.
• Insurance industry experience preferred.
• CPA or related certification preferred.
• Experience managing 10–15 analysts preferred.
• Strong Excel and MS Office skills required.

Responsibilities

• Review and reconcile commission statements and input into the system.
• Reconcile incoming commission payments and resolve differences.
• Communicate with insurance companies to resolve payment and status issues.
• Generate reports on commissions and payments from the system.
• Scan and file commission statements for record keeping.
• Lead and coach a team of 10–15 analysts and provide backup as needed.
• Develop or improve operating procedures for efficient accounting.
• Perform complex financial transactions accurately and balance statements.
