Job summary

Keefe Commissary Network is hiring for an onsite Commissary Operations Team Member/Vending role in a correctional facility. You will help operate commissary services, pull and deliver inmate orders, and support cross-training across distribution departments.

You will be part of a fast-paced team with regular pay cycles and benefits starting on day one. Prior retail or grocery exposure is helpful for stocking tasks.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work on your feet for the duration of a shift.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Excellent customer service skills are essential.
• Experience with inventory handling is a plus.
• Stocking and rotating inventory in vending environments is beneficial.
• Retail or grocery experience is advantageous.

About This Position

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Hours:

Mon-8:30am-2:30pm

Tues. 7am-2:30pm

Wed. – Fri. 6:30am-2:30pm

This position is onsite located within a jail/correctional facility and you will work around inmates. You will report to the Operations Manager.

Developing teams and building careers are central to our success. This is a full-time position, with some benefits starting your first day. We expect our team to complete several processes and therefore believe in cross‑training our team across the distribution departments. You can also specialize in a specific area.

The primary responsibility of a Commissary Operations Team Member/Vending position is to assist in providing commissary operations and services to assigned Commissary location. This includes pulling and delivering orders to inmates at specified correctional facilities in a timely and efficient manner.

• Must be able to work on your feet throughout the duration of a shift
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
• Must have great customer service skills
• Inventory handling experience is a plus
• Take pride in your surroundings by helping maintain a clean workspace
• Other duties as determined by the needs of the business
• Stocking/rotating inventory within vending machines
• Retail or grocery experience is a plus

Compensation

What You'll Need

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Familiarity with computers preferred.
