Job summary

Keefe Commissary Network is seeking operations team members for a full-time role inside a correctional facility. Employees will unload and stock warehouse items, pick customer orders, and load pallets with forklifts. Training across distribution areas is provided, with opportunities to specialize.

DailyPay is available and the company supports veterans. Work is onsite within a jail/correctional facility, reporting to the Operations Manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to lift up to 70lbs.
• Familiarity with computers.

Responsibilities

• Unload, receive and put away product into the onsite warehouse.
• Select product for individual customer orders as part of our Commissary (KCN) team.
• Build, stage, and load pallet orders on modern forklifts and material handling equipment (MHE) to support our Bulk team.
• Load third-party and internal delivery trucks.
• Manage inventory to include counting product and correcting inventory.
• Use technology and learn WMS systems to deliver orders through the use of: mobile scan guns, modern material handling equipment, computers, tablets and more.
• Take pride in your surroundings by helping maintain a clean workspace
• Ability to become forklift and material handling equipment certified.
• Other responsibilities as determined by our needs.

About This Position

This position is onsite located within a jail/correctional facility and you will work around inmates. You will report to the Operations Manager.

Developing teams and building careers are central to our success. This is a full-time position, with some benefits starting your first day. We expect our team to complete several processes and therefore believe in cross-training our team across the distribution departments. You can also specialize in a specific area.

The facility is an operational correctional facility servicing multiple businesses, with opportunities to:

Compensation

• Regular pay raises based on performance and experience levels
• Regular opportunities for overtime, paid at the corresponding overtime rate
• Weekly pay, every Thursday
• Holiday Pay for company recognized holidays
