Qualifications

• Must test negative on all drug screenings.
• Ability to complete required training and certifications.
• Adherence to the Department’s dress code and grooming requirements.
• Knowledge of requisitioning, disbursing, and inventory control.
• Familiarity with storage of various goods and perishables.
• Experience with large-scale inventory control methods.
• Experience with computerized inventory systems.
• Understanding state regulations for refrigerated items.

Responsibilities

• Authorize accuracy of all orders and goods received.
• Coordinate with vendors on shipments and misorders.
• Maintain detailed inventory records and items ordered.
• Evaluate storage procedures and record-keeping as needed.
• Ensure proper storage and rotation of perishable items.
• Receive, stock, disburse, and control goods.
• Organize and supervise warehouse staff as needed.
• Maintain security while supervising incarcerated individuals.
