Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring a full-time Commissary Operations Assistant Manager to join our team at the Kennedy Space Center in Merritt Island, Florida. Pay

Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $43,888 – $54,100 / year

In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. The advertised pay range represents what we believe at the time of this job posting, that we would be willing to pay for this position. Only in special circumstances, where a candidate has education, training, or experience that far exceeds the requirements for the position, would we consider paying higher than the stated range. What will you do?
  • Coordinate all purchasing and inventory management, ensuring timely reordering, accurate deliveries, and proper product rotation based on business needs and seasonality
  • Oversee commissary operations, including sanitation compliance with DNC HACCP, NASA, and state regulations, safety protocols, and Green Path initiatives
  • Develop and implement systemsto track food products, generate inventory and cost reports, and monitor food quality and sanitation through DNCPR Quality Assurance programs
  • Support menu development and food production standards, sourcing new products and suggesting improvements to enhance efficiency and quality
  • Supervise department team members, maintain performance standards, coordinate equipment maintenance, and stay informed on innovations in food service methods and facility planning
  • Operate a motor vehicle when necessary
More about you
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in food and beverage operations with a minimum of 1 year of management experience
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control procedures including accounting and cost control
  • ServeSafe certified preferred
  • no degree required
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Hold and maintain a valid driver’s license, pass a motor vehicle record check, and drug test
