Description

Come work behind the scenes with the Commissary team! Prep Cooks will prepare, serve, sell, and maintain food and beverage items. Responsibilities include taking orders, receiving vendor deliveries, preparing licensed food packages, and cleaning food items. Tasks should be performed in a timely and professional manner to ensure guest satisfaction.

  • Follow all recipes and practice portion control to prepare, garnish, and present ordered items.
  • Maintain proper setup of the kitchen/station daily.
  • Handle, store, and rotate all products properly.
  • Complete all items listed on the shift prep-sheet.
  • Set up, maintain, clean, and break down machinery and equipment.
  • Maintain stock, cut, and store perishables daily to ensure quality.
  • Complete opening, ongoing, and closing checklists.
  • Report product shortages to the manager.
  • Perform cleaning tasks using standard cleaning products to meet health standards.
  • Return used items to proper places, organize work and storage areas, and empty trash containers.
  • Meet with the manager upon arrival and before leaving to discuss and complete duties.
Requirements
  • One year experience in a food service environment.
  • High school diploma preferred.
  • Ability to read, speak, and understand English.
  • Food handler’s permit as required by law.
  • Other duties as assigned.
