Job summary

Elior Group is seeking a commissary/pantry attendant to support the corrections facility in Virginia Beach, VA. You will be responsible for fulfilling and delivering inmate orders, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining high service standards in a secure environment.

The role requires strong customer service, good computer skills, and the ability to communicate clearly and stay organized under demanding conditions. Prior commissary experience is a plus, but not required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of correctional facility standards and requirements.
• Excellent customer service and computer skills.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• One year of experience in a commissary program preferred.

Responsibilities

We are excited to bring a versatile commissary/pantry attendant to our Corrections team in Virginia Beach,VA As a Summit Commissary attendant, you will have the opportunity to: ensure excellent commissary services for an assigned correctional facility’s commissary program.

What you'll be doing:

• Fulfilling and delivering food and personal hygiene orders to inmates in a timely and efficient manner.
• Ensuring accuracy of filled orders prior to delivery to inmates.
• This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time.

What we’re looking for:

Must-haves:

• Knowledge of correctional facility standards and requirements, and an ability to adhere to these standards and requirements.
• Excellent customer service and computer skills.
• Have excellent communication and organization skills.

Nice-to-haves:

• At least one years’ prior experience in a commissary program.

Compensation Range

$17/hr
