Job summary

Join Bento Inc. in Fullerton as a Commis sions Production Coordinator, supporting the production team in a fast-paced Ready to Eat sushi environment.

You will handle data entry, order coordination, and cross-department communication to ensure accurate scheduling and timely fulfillment of customer orders. This role requires strong data entry, attention to detail, and the ability to work on the production floor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree or relevant coursework preferred.
• Strong data entry and MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Accurately entering data into computer databases and software.
• Comparin g entered data with source documents for accuracy (note: avoid duplication).
• Maintaining and updating existing data in databases and systems.
• Organizing and maintaining both digital and physical files.
• Walk the production floor to gather logs and documentation.
• Communicate with supervisors and leads.
• Follow GMP rules.
• Review customer orders daily to schedule production accordingly.
• Enter and maintain accurate order data in JustFoods ERP system.
• Serve as point of contact for inquiries via email and phone.
• Assist in coordinating and maintaining customer accounts including purchase orders.
• Sort, review, and input vendor invoices.
• Perform general admin duties (photocopying, filing, scanning, faxing).
• Backup for Customer Service / Order Desk as needed.
• Support cross-functional communication between Production, QA, Logistics, and Sales.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by Plant Manager.

Responsibilities

The Commissaries Production Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to the production team in a fast paced Ready to Eat sushi manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for order coordination, data entry, customer and vendor support, and cross departmental communication to ensure accurate scheduling, efficient production flow, and timely fulfillment of customer orders.

• Accurately entering data into computer databases and software, using keyboards, scanners, or other devices.
• Comparing entered data with source documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Maintaining and updating existing data in databases and systems.
• Organizing and maintaining both digital and physical files for easy retrieval and access.
• Must be willing to walk the production floor to gather logs and/or other documentation.
• Communicate well with supervisors and leads.
• Must follow all GMP rules.
• Review customer orders daily to ensure all orders are properly scheduled for production; clearly communicate any required changes or updates to affected departments.
• Enter and maintain accurate order data in the JustFoods ERP system, ensuring proper setup and making system adjustments as needed.
• Serve as a point of contact for incoming inquiries via email and phone, directing questions to the appropriate departments.
• Assist in the coordination and maintenance of customer accounts, including outlining product details, confirming product availability, creating, and sending purchase orders.
• Sort, review, and input vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
• Perform general administrative duties such as photocopying, filing, scanning, and faxing documents.
• Act as a backup for the Customer Service / Order Desk team as needed to support order entry and customer communications.
• Support cross‑functional communication between Production, Quality Assurance, Logistics, and Sales to ensure smooth operations.
• Perform additional tasks and administrative projects as assigned by the Plant Manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or relevant coursework preferred.
• Prior experience in food manufacturing, production administration, or order management is strongly preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems (JustFoods or similar) is a plus.
• Strong data entry skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational, time‑management, and multitasking abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, temperature‑controlled production environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality.
