Job summary

Engineering Excellence is seeking an HVAC technician to diagnose and repair commercial equipment while delivering outstanding customer service. You will learn from experienced technicians, expand your hands-on skills, and contribute to a safety- and quality-driven team.

Qualifications

• Certificate in HVAC from an accredited college or career center.
• EPA 608 Refrigeration license; Universal license preferred.
• Proven mechanical aptitude; able to operate all necessary tools and equipment.
• Commitment to delivering customer-focused service.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as required.
• Background check criteria must be met.

Responsibilities

• Learn to analyze, diagnose, and resolve customer concerns in commercial environments.
• Train with senior technicians to service HVAC and refrigeration equipment and accessories.
• Navigate and use a smartphone to support business systems.
• Use IVR systems and check in/out with EE dispatchers.
• Deliver or remove equipment and parts needed to complete service work.
• Provide excellent service to commercial customers and sustain high satisfaction.
• Handle customer questions effectively.
• Prepare material requisition forms for truck stock levels.
• Perform maintenance on IAQ products, soldering, welding, and minor fabrication.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for learning the process of analyzing, diagnosing, and resolving customer concerns in commercial environments.
• Train with senior technicians and work to become self sufficient in performing service on commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment as well as accessories.
• Ability to navigate and use smart phone to support business systems
• Proper use of all IVR systems and proper check in and out with EE dispatchers.
• Responsible for delivery and removal of equipment and parts needed to complete service work.
• Responsible for providing excellent service to commercial customers and sustaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Handle customer concerns, questions or problems in an effective manner.
• Prepare material requisition forms to ensure proper truck stock levels.
• Other duties include performing maintenance on equipment, servicing and/or cleaning IAQ products, soldering, welding, brazing, and performing minor field fabrication.

Requirements:

• A certificate in HVAC from an accredited college or career center.
• EPA 608 Refrigeration license, Universal license preferred.
• Proven mechanical aptitude Able to operate all necessary tools and equipment to perform various projects.
• Demonstrated commitment to the delivery of customer-focused service.
• The ability to work overtime and weekend hours as required.
• The successful incumbent must be able to meet the minimum requirements for our background check criteria.
• Minimum Experience: 0 - 2 years
• Minimum Education: High School Diploma/GED
