Overview

A Virginia law firm is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Commercial Real Estate Attorney with 3+ years of experience to handle a variety of complex real estate transactions. A successful candidate will handle sophisticated commercial real estate matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, financing, and development transactions. Responsibilities
  • Handle all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and development.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial real estate contracts and documents such as purchase agreements, leases, financing agreements, and joint venture agreements.
  • Provide counsel to clients on various commercial real estate matters, including land use, zoning, and environmental issues.
  • Manage due diligence efforts, including title, survey, and environmental reviews.
  • Collaborate with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient transaction processes.
  • Stay current with local, state, and federal real estate laws and regulations impacting commercial real estate.
Qualifications
  • J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in Virginia.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial real estate transactions, in a law firm setting.
  • Strong knowledge of real estate law, contracts, and finance, with a track record of handling complex real estate deals.
