Responsibilities

As a Commercial HVAC Service Technician, you will perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, site surveys, and service requests for commercial and industrial HVAC equipment in the Lenexa, KS area. Duties include:

• Start-up and commissioning of HVAC systems and controls
• Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing HVAC equipment such as split systems, chillers, and ancillary components
• Maintaining building control systems and optimizing their operation
• Replacing and modifying HVAC systems as needed

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience with commercial HVAC systems
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and comfort with handheld devices
• Valid driver’s license with clean record
• EPA Certification preferred
• Ability to work on-call, overtime, and occasional overnight stays

Physical and Environmental Requirements

• Ability to operate a vehicle safely
• Use of safety equipment such as helmets, goggles, fall protection, and boots
• Physical ability to perform tasks such as twisting, squatting, reaching, standing on concrete, lifting weights, and working at heights
• Exposure to variable weather and environmental conditions

Compensation

Base pay range: $30-$40+ per hour, depending on experience and location. Actual pay may vary based on seniority and merit.
