Job summary

At Pomp's Tire Service, a Diesel Mechanic is needed to support our heavy-duty vehicle repairs and preventative services. You will perform maintenance, alignments, tire work, and component replacements to keep fleets safe and on the road.

Qualifications

• Diesel mechanical knowledge/experience required.
• Ability to use basic hand tools, tire tools, alignment machines and air wrench.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of mechanical services, including oil changes, tire alignments, brake and shock replacements, and more.
• Maintain and replace tires as needed to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
• Care for and maintain tools and equipment to ensure their proper function.
• Troubleshoot customer needs and inspect vehicles for any additional maintenance or repair issues.
• Keep the work area clean and organized to ensure a safe and efficient environment.
• Complete additional tasks as assigned by the manager to support operations.

What You'll Do:

What You Need:

• Diesel mechanical knowledge/experience required
• Ability to use basic hand tools, tire tools, alignment machines, air wrench and other essential tools
• Ability to lift, push, carry, and/or move a maximum of 100 pounds
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to bend, stretch, lift, push, pull and reach without difficulty. Frequent kneeling and bending over the back
