Job summary

Advantage Truck Group is seeking a Licensed Massachusetts Commercial Vehicle Inspector for a mobile role based in Shrewsbury, MA. You will perform on-site inspections at customer locations and document findings in the inspection system.

The ideal candidate holds a MA CVI license, CDL Class A or B, and can work independently. Physical inspections require lifting 50–100 lbs and endurance for demanding positions.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts Commercial Vehicle Inspector License required.
• CDL Class A or B preferred.
• Ability to work independently at customer locations.

Responsibilities

• Verify vehicle identification and enter accurate vehicle information into the inspection system.
• Inspect and record vehicle equipment and options, including damage and missing or inoperable items.
• Perform basic mechanical inspections on vehicles including powertrain, drivetrain, structural, and electrical components.
• Interpret and analyze inspection results.
• Maintains quality records as needed.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• CDL Class A or B
• Massachusetts Commercial Vehicle Inspector License
• Ability to work independently at customer locations
• Ability to lift 50-100 lbs. and work in physically demanding positions (bending, kneeling, standing for long periods)
