Clear Destination Inc. in the United States seeks an underwriting support expert to help achieve productivity and quality goals.

You will develop policies, monitor performance, and train staff while serving as a subject matter expert on underwriting support. Under limited supervision, you will lead internal quality control initiatives, support corporate projects, and contribute to continuous improvement across the rating function.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 4–6 years of related experience.
• AINS or AU designation preferred.
• Ability to develop and implement underwriting support policies and procedures.
• Strong training and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure commercial lines underwriting support best practices by developing, implementing policies, procedures and processes.
• Develop and deliver job skills training for underwriting support staff.
• Identify skill gaps and provide performance improvement support.
• Monitor performance and recommend continuous improvement.
• Serve as a subject matter expert providing underwriting support expertise.
• Develop and execute internal quality control processes for underwriting support.
• Act as a Business Lead or resource on corporate projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
