Job summary

First American is seeking a Commercial Underwriting Assistant to support the national commercial real estate closing process. You will help prepare invoices, route title comments, order updates, and assist in recording and pricing activities for single-site to multi-site transactions.

You will review documents, audit surveys, and help prepare proforma policies and endorsements to ensure timely closings and accurate title records.

• Knowledge of MS Office suite, specifically advanced Adobe and spreadsheet. The ability to quickly adapt to new software applications and technologies.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of title related experience preferred.

First American is looking to add a Commercial Underwriting Assistant to our growing team. FA sets the standard for excellence in the commercial real estate space. In this role, you will work in adynamic, fast-paced setting supporting our Commercial Title team in a wide range of duties including creating and maintaining title files and documenting and recording. This position administratively supports timely closings and title recordings for transactions ranging from single site to high-liability multi-site commercial real estate transactions. You will play a key role in coordinating the resolution and completion of the commercial title process.

Pay Range: $23.37 - $31.14 Hourly

This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
