Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, real-estate or business-related field required.
• Strong analytical and presentation skills with ability to communicate findings clearly.
• Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel; ability to analyze financial statements.

Responsibilities

• Spread and analyze credit data, tax returns and financial statements to determine risk in loan decisions.
• Generate financial ratios and trend analyses using bank systems to evaluate borrowers' status.
• Perform market research to identify factors affecting repayment ability.
• Prepare loan memos and summaries for loan committee approvals.
• Interact with loan officers, appraisers and third parties to facilitate credit extension.
• Review third-party reports for due diligence and valuation considerations.
• Prepare internal real estate property evaluations.
• Track loan workflow and maintain organized file retention.
