The Travelers Indemnity Company is hiring an Account Executive for Select Accounts in California. You will partner with agents to provide property, general liability, commercial auto, workers' compensation, and umbrella coverage for new business and existing clients.

The role requires underwriting expertise in commercial lines, strong negotiation and relationship-building skills, and the ability to travel to meet with agents and brokers to grow profitability and retention.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3–5 years of underwriting experience in commercial lines.
• CPCU designation preferred or required.

Responsibilities

• Manage profitability, growth, and retention of an assigned book of business.
• Underwrite and negotiate property and casualty accounts to maximize profitability.
• Ensure underwriting quality and risk analysis for quotes and decisions.
• Cultivate relationships with internal partners to create sales plans and cross-sell.
• Meet with agents and brokers to market Travelers products and write/retain accounts.
• Collaborate with Sales Executives to identify and write new opportunities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
