Role Overview

We are seeking a results-driven and licensed Commercial Trucking Insurance Agent to join our remote team. This full-time 1099 position offers a dynamic opportunity to grow your book of business with a focus on trucking insurance. You’ll be responsible for handling all aspects of the sales cycle—from prospecting to policy issuance—while providing exceptional service to our valued clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Cold call x-dated and prospect leads to generate new business opportunities
• Engage with clients to assess and understand their insurance needs
• Develop and present tailored insurance solutions, with a strong focus on trucking risks
• Manage client relationships and ensure ongoing satisfaction and retention
• Utilize the EZLynx agency management system for quoting, documentation, and policy servicing
• Support agency growth through effective sales strategies and consistent performance
• Participate in virtual meetings and collaborate with a remote team

Compensation

• 50% commission on new and renewal business in all lines except personal lines
• 40% commission on new and renewal business for personal lines
• Agents may sell all lines, but commercial trucking must remain the primary focus

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of active P&C insurance licensure
• Experience in insurance brokerage and account management
• Strong knowledge of commercial and trucking insurance products
• Proficient in sales techniques, communication, and client engagement
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and meet targets remotely
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field is a plus
• Holding a current book of trucking business is highly advantageous
• Additional licenses and certifications are a plus
• Must be a US citizen living in the US
