The Commercial Training Manager will lead the development and execution of initiatives aligned with the Microbial Solutions Commercial Training Strategic Plan supporting our mission, vision, and key business priorities. The role manages sales operations including sales administration, sales training, and commercial team onboarding, and develops processes and tools essential to the sales force productivity. Efforts include sales process and tools optimization, reporting and measurement of KPIs, sales training programs, and technology infrastructure design. The manager works closely with key stakeholders to generate content on effective portfolio knowledge and positioning, best practices in territory management and utilization of sales tools, and manages continuous training for the team and the onboarding program for new hires.
Partner with Sales Leadership and Marketing to define training goals that translate strategy into effective field execution. Build and maintain comprehensive onboarding covering product, process, industry, and tools for all sales roles. Act as a change leader within the Commercial organization, driving adoption of new learning technologies and shaping a culture of performance excellence. Identify knowledge and skill gaps and create competency‑based learning solutions to close them. Apply instructional design methodology, adult learning principles, and project management expertise when planning, developing, and facilitating learning curricula. Design, develop, and deliver training programs for NPI’s, service enhancements, and strategic partnerships using classroom training, e-learning, and workshops. Evaluate training effectiveness continuously and optimize content through assessments, surveys, and stakeholder feedback. Manage the training budget, resources, and logistics for efficient delivery. Partner with hiring managers to initiate onboarding activities, coordinate logistics with Sales Operations Administrator, travel with sales representatives to determine training needs, conduct orientation to sales process, and stay current on industry trends.
Ensure seamless training execution and oversee planning, logistics and delivery to provide an engaging, high‑impact experience for all participants. Support global training expansion and partner with the team to ensure training is successfully executed in APAC regions. Develop and lead training interactions and workshops for regional/global sales meetings and mid‑year meetings as needed.
The pay range for this position is $80,000 - $105,000K USD annually. Salaries vary within the range based on factors including experience, skills, education, certifications, and location.
