Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of commercial title experience.
• Proficient typing and keyboard skills.
• Exceptional verbal/written communication, organizational and analytical skills.
• Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Assess risk and liabilities to provide title opinions.
• Determine insurability of title and advise under policy guidelines.
• Issue endorsements and prepare Proforma and final Title policies.
• Complete complex legal description title examinations.
• Review ALTA surveys and legal descriptions.
• Explain chain of title and commitment to staff and customers.
• Research in TitlePoint, Property Sync, and county websites.
• Collaborate with escrow staff to meet deadlines.
