Job summary

The Keystone Distinction Group is seeking a Commercial Title Officer to join its Atlanta team, supporting sophisticated commercial real estate transactions from title examination through policy issuance. The role partners with clients, lenders, underwriters, and escrow professionals in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Three days in the office per week (hybrid) with an emphasis on accuracy, problem-solving, and customer service.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 3-5 years of commercial title experience required
  • Strong knowledge of commercial title commitments, policies, endorsements, and underwriting requirements
  • Experience supporting commercial real estate transactions from title review through closing and post-closing activities
  • Ability to analyze and evaluate title records, surveys, legal descriptions, and due diligence materials
  • Strong attention to detail with exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to quickly learn new software platforms and technologies
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated customer-service mindset with a professional and positive attitude
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently and effectively across departments

Responsibilities

  • Price title commitments, endorsements, policies, and guarantees using appropriate fee schedules and rate structures
  • Review and approve a variety of legal documentation, including deeds, operating agreements, corporate resolutions, and related transactional documents
  • Prepare, revise, and issue title commitments, pro forma title policies, and endorsements
  • Select appropriate title policy language and write-ups for standard and extended coverage transactions
  • Support commercial real estate transactions through title commitment review, ordering title and tax updates, obtaining title curative documentation, and assembling recording and transfer tax information
  • Review buyer, seller, and lender instructions and transaction documents for closing
  • Analyze surveys, title reports, and other due diligence materials to identify and resolve title issues
  • Obtain underwriting approvals and respond to title examination inquiries
  • Coordinate title curative matters and facilitate resolution of title-related issues
  • Issue final title policies and endorsements in accordance with company underwriting guidelines
  • Create, maintain, and organize transaction files, records, and reports
  • Partner with internal teams and external clients to ensure smooth and timely transaction execution

Our client, a national leader in commercial title and escrow services, is seeking a Commercial Title Officer to join its growing Atlanta team. This position offers an outstanding opportunity for a detail-oriented title professional to play a critical role in sophisticated commercial real estate transactions ranging from single-site acquisitions to complex multi-state portfolios.


The ideal candidate will bring strong commercial title experience, exceptional analytical abilities, and a passion for research, problem-solving, and customer service. Working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, you will help guide transactions from title examination through policy issuance while partnering closely with clients, lenders, underwriters, escrow professionals, and internal stakeholders.


Candidate Profile
