Best-One Tire & Service in Breese, IL is seeking a Commercial Tire Technician – Road Service to support truck drivers and fleets with on-site tire service. The role emphasizes independent work, problem solving, and timely road-service responses.

Starting pay is $22 per hour, with potential to reach $25 depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for growth within one of North America's largest independent tire dealers.

Qualifications

• 2 years minimum commercial and/or agriculture tire experience
• CDL is a plus
• At least 18 years of age
• Valid driver's license required
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Positive attitude and the ability to relate well with other team members and customers
• Ability to perform all job functions that require lifting and or carrying single items weighing at least 50 lbs., as well as functions and activities such as pulling, pushing, bending, standing, lifting, reaching, and stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, rotate, balance, and replace commercial truck and heavy equipment tires
• Perform roadside tire service for commercial customers
• Conduct fleet tire inspections
• Recommend repairs and preventative maintenance
• Respond quickly to emergency road service calls
• Communicate with customers professionally
• Complete service documentation
• Operate and maintain an assigned service truck
• Safely operate tire equipment and shop tools
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle

Skills

More about the role:

Typical schedule is Monday-Friday with rotating on-call evenings and weekends for emergency road service. Rotation frequency will be discussed during the interview.

What You’ll Do as a Commercial Tire Technician – Road Service:

Service Work
