Job summary

Pomp’s Tire Service in Wisconsin is seeking a Commercial Tire Technician to join our team. You will mount, dismount, and replace tires on commercial vehicles, inspect for safety, and troubleshoot tire needs.

Responsibilities

• Mount, dismount, and replace tires on commercial vehicles safely.
• Assess tire needs and provide effective repair solutions.
• Inspect tires and vehicles for maintenance issues.
• Perform tire rotations, balancing, and repairs as required.
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment and protect tools.
• Complete additional tasks as directed by the manager.

What You’ll Do:

• Mount, dismount, and replace tires on commercial vehicles efficiently and safely
• Assess and troubleshoot customer tire needs to provide effective solutions
• Inspect tires and vehicles for any additional issues or maintenance needs
• Perform tire rotations, balancing, and repairs as required
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment and ensure proper care of tools and equipment
• Complete additional tasks as assigned by the manager to support team operations

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to effectively communicate with customers and co-workers
• Ability to read and verify work order information
• Ability to lift, carry, or move 50 pounds regularly, and up to 100 pounds occasionally
