Job summary

Purcell Tire & Service Centers in Alaska is seeking a full-time Outside Service Technician to support commercial tire service needs. You will dismount, mount, balance, and replace tires and wheels, perform preventive service on the service vehicle, and respond to scheduled calls.

Applicants must have at least 6 months of commercial tire experience, a valid driver’s license, a clean MVR, and pass background and drug screening.

Qualifications

• 6 months commercial tire experience required
• Valid driver’s license and 3-year clean MVR with no DUIs
• Ability to pass background and drug screen

Responsibilities

• Perform commercial tire and wheel replacements and installations
• Dismount wheels using lug wrenches and other hand and power tools
• Repair, balance, rotate, mount, and replace tires/wheels
• Services calls as scheduled by service manager
• Keep service vehicle fully stocked
• Preventative maintenance of the service vehicle – daily inspection, oil changes, etc.
• Perform basic facility maintenance, shop clean up, and organization
• Look for opportunities to improve our products & services
• Other essential and non-essential duties as assigned by management
