Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers in Oregon is hiring a Commercial Tire Service Technician to handle tire installation, maintenance and sales for commercial customers. You will install, repair, rotate, and rebalance tires and wheels, service TPMS, and support on-site and off-site road service calls.

The role emphasizes excellent customer service, following company policies, and promoting store value. A valid driver’s license and ability to lift 35–75 pounds are required; on-the-job training is provided.

Qualifications

Valid driver’s license.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
Frequent lifting of weight between 35-75 pounds.
Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

Installation and maintenance of tires and wheels.
Repairing, rotating, and inflating tires.
Attaching and rebalancing wheels.
Installing/rebuilding and/or relearning/calibrating TPMS.
Washing tires and wheels; testing and installing batteries.
Using and maintenance of equipment; assisting other employees.
Test driving vehicles; operating service vehicles for offsite and emergency road services.
Provide excellent customer service and promote store sales.
