Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers is seeking a Commercial Tire Service Technician in Fremont, NE to install, maintain and sell commercial tires and wheels while delivering outstanding customer service and following company policies. The role includes tire installation, wheel handling and TPMS calibration.

You will assist other staff, test drive vehicles, and may operate service vehicles for offsite or emergency work. Competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package accompany the role.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Excellent customer service and ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
• Frequent lifting of 35–75 pounds.
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Commercial Tire Service Technician (Tire Installation, Maintenance & Sales)

The Commercial Tire Service position is responsible for the sales, service, and maintenance of Commercial tires and wheels, providing excellent customer service and completing work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.

Primary Responsibilities

• Installation and maintenance of tires and wheels
• Repairing, rotating, and inflating tires
• Attaching and rebalancing wheels
• Installing/rebuilding and/or relearning/calibrating TPMS
• Washing tires and wheels
• Testing and installing batteries
• Using and maintenance of equipment
• Assisting other employees
• Test driving vehicles
• Operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services
• Provides excellent customer service, promotes store sales; uses the Best Tire Value Promise to engage customers.

Experience
