Thomas Tire Commercial & Off-Road is seeking a motivated Commercial Tire Service Manager to join our team. We are looking for a team player with excellent customer interaction, a team-building mindset and solid organizational skills who is ready to grow with us.

The role focuses on providing accurate information to customers, reviewing work orders for accuracy, organizing shop operations, and coaching technicians to enhance efficiency while maintaining safety and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate information with excellent customer experiences for passenger or light trucks receiving new tires.
• Review every work order before front counter processing to ensure labor and inventory items are correctly assigned.
• Require all truck check sheets to be completed and signed off, documenting recommended services.
• Manage daily job flows, oversee processing of take-off tires, and ensure tools are returned to designated spots.
• Lead by example to coach technicians while maintaining a clean, safe shop environment and driving efficiency goals.

• Up to 4 weeks of vacation/paid time off

Basic Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and timely information with excellent customer experiences: Support Front Counter Staff in delivering professional explanations and guarantee proper services are provided for passenger or light trucks receiving new tires.
• Process and verify workflow with precision: Review every work order before front counter processing to ensure all labor items, inventory items, and technician initials are accurately assigned.
• Maintain organized records and documentation: Require all truck check sheets to be completed and signed off, ensuring all recommended services are clearly documented.
• Organize and coordinate the shop for maximum efficiency: Manage daily job flows, oversee the immediate and correct processing of take-off tires, and ensure tools are returned to designated spots.
• Collaborate closely with the team to optimize operational processes: Lead by example to coach technicians, maintaining a clean, safe shop environment while driving the team toward efficiency goals.

Requirements

• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills to coach, motivate, and hold a team accountable in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and a willingness to get your hands dirty managing shop cleanliness, tools, and daily waste disposal.
