Job summary

Citrin Cooperman & Company, LLP is seeking a Commercial Tax Services (CTS) Director in the Tax Department at our Woburn, MA location. The role leads tax return review, planning, and client service for partnerships, C-, and S-corporations with knowledge of individuals as a plus.

The Director will mentor staff, drive business development, and collaborate with partners to ensure timely delivery and quality work for a diversified client base.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; Master’s in taxation preferred; CPA preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive public accounting experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Capable of managing multiple client engagements.
• A track record of building and sustaining client relationships and high-quality client service.
• Outstanding analytical, organizational and project management skills.
• Proficient with listed tax software and office applications.

Responsibilities

• Review of tax returns, tax workpapers and tax projections.
• Strong technical skills in partnerships, C-corporations and S-corporations; individual taxation knowledge a plus.
• Provide consulting, planning and compliance for clients.
• Perform tax research to resolve issues.
• Oversee day-to-day needs of clients and tax return process; identify and resolve tax issues.
• Work to expand client base and support business development activities.
• Participate in industry or service line-related organizations.
• Maintain proactive relationships with clients.
• Coordinate with partners for timely planning and communication.
