GetHired, Inc. in Fresno, CA is seeking a Commercial Solar Installer to assemble, install, and maintain PV systems on rooftops, ground mounts, and other structures.

You will configure PV systems to site conditions and client needs, connect panels to the grid, and ensure compliance with building codes while performing end-to-end installation from underground work to interconnection. This role requires physical stamina, safe work habits, and the ability to read blueprints and equipment manuals.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Vocational or technical school training preferred.
• Previous related experience preferred.

COMMERCIAL SOLAR INSTALLER

The Solar Installer will assemble, install, and maintain solar photovoltaic (PV) systems.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Assemble and install solar panels on ground mounts, roofs, and other structures.
• Configure PV systems based on site conditions and clients needs and expectations; connect panels to the power grid.
• Follow building standards and codes when installing panels and support structures.
• Perform installation of all needs on PV systems, from underground construction to grid interconnection.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Extensive knowledge of PV equipment and installation.
• Extensive knowledge of electrical wiring and equipment.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read building plans.
• Ability to read equipment manuals.
• Ability to use hand and power tools to install PV panels.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Vocational or technical school training preferred.
• Previous related experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to work at rooftop heights.
• Prolonged periods of kneeling, bending, crouching, and climbing ladders.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds at a time.
