Job description

Responsible for service and day-to-day operations of Commercial Services area. Supervisors operations and acts as teller, as needed, while providing Legendary Service to customers and employees. Provides guidance and coaching to employees while conforming to established guidelines including regulatory compliance, policies and procedures of bank. Responsible for outside business development calling efforts to identify needs and opportunities for consumer and business products and services.

Oversees operations of Commercial Services. Staffs, coaches, counsels, budgets, loss prevention, ATMs, alarm systems, armored car relationship management, overall cash level management, and development of knowledgeable trained staff. Has good working knowledge of vault and coin operations, security and fraud protections, proof operations, products and services provided by bank and actively call on both customers and prospects in market area. Maintains knowledge to assist personal and commercial customers. Has daily management and contact with direct report employees as well as employees from other departments. Two-way communication between all departments is essential in ensuring an efficient and productive work place. Promotes team atmosphere providing Legendary Service to both customers and co-workers while ensuring branch operations are in accordance with Branch Control Manual standards. Daily activities are affected by amount of customer traffic in facility, customer and employee demands, and meetings and classes. Involved in selection and training of employees. Develops, coaches and handling personnel issues and situations. Acts as a teller as needed, along with supervising operations while providing Legendary Service to customers and employees. Responsible for follow up and assuring customers' needs are met. Responsible for outside business development calling efforts to identify needs and opportunities for consumer and business products and services. Expected to participate in local community organizations. Oversees operations of branch including staffing, coaching, loss prevention, and development of knowledgeable trained staff members. Responsible for good understanding of security and fraud protections, operations, vault and coin management, ATMs, and products and services provided by bank. Maintains advanced knowledge in assisting customers in teller area. Responsible for compliance with all banking regulations which are applicable to the job, including Bank Secrecy Act and information security initiatives. The environment is fast paced, where interruptions occur often. It is important to act in a professional manner. Understands role in case of robbery and knows proper post-robbery procedures. Accountable for other tasks as directed.

Bachelor's degree in business or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and training with at least 5 years of banking experience and 3 years of management experience preferred. Ability to lift 60 pounds. Previous management experience required. Maintains knowledge of bank's products, service and operations. Advanced knowledge of all teller, vault, ATM functions along with bank regulations, bank policies and procedures, and bank products and services. Strong attention to detail, analytical, and problem solving skills with the ability to work in fast paced environment with accuracy. Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong customer relations skills. Must work well with employees and customers in a cooperative, positive, professional manner. Good judgment and ability to handle confidential information and work quickly and accurately to analyze information and make decisions. Demonstrates ability to proactively assume additional responsibilities, duties and projects. Successful completion of in-house training programs. Must have skills in computer software, an understanding of ATM, Image Scanner, Cash Counting Machine, Cash Dispensing Machine, and Coin Counter & Roller.
