Job summary

Engineering Excellence Incorporated is seeking a skilled Commercial HVAC technician to diagnose and service heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in commercial environments. You will perform start-ups, equipment delivery, and related maintenance while ensuring high customer satisfaction and adherence to safety standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, relevant HVAC licenses, and the ability to read blueprints; overtime and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• HVAC license required (Gasfitter 1 or 2).
• Refrigeration license (313A) preferred.
• Plumbing, electrical, sheet metal, or refrigeration license is a plus.
• 4+ years of experience in commercial HVAC.
• Ability to read drawings and blueprints.
• Willing to work overtime and weekends.
• Commitment to customer-focused service.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, diagnose, and resolve customer concerns in commercial environments.
• Service commercial HVAC equipment and related accessories.
• Perform start-ups on air conditioning as required.
• Deliver and remove equipment needed to complete service work.
• Provide excellent service to commercial customers and sustain high satisfaction.
• Handle customer questions or problems promptly.
• Prepare material requisition forms to ensure truck stock levels.
• Perform maintenance, servicing, and cleaning of equipment.
• IAQ products, soldering, welding, brazing, and minor field fabrication.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for analyzing, diagnosing, and resolving customer concerns in commercial environments.
• Perform service on commercial heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment as well as accessories.
• Perform start-ups on air conditioning as required.
• Responsible for delivery and removal of equipment needed to complete service work.
• Responsible for providing excellent service to commercial customers and sustaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Handle customer concerns, questions or problems in an effective manner.
• Prepare material requisition forms to ensure proper truck stock levels.
• Other duties include performing maintenance on equipment, servicing and/or cleaning
• IAQ products, soldering, welding, brazing, and performing minor field fabrication.

Qualifications/Skills:

• The qualified candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• A license in commercial HVAC required (Gasfitter 2 or Gasfitter 1 License) with
• Refrigeration license (313A License) preferred.
• A license in plumbing, electrical work, sheet metal, or refrigeration an asset.
• Proven mechanical aptitude and experience in the commercial HVAC field.
• Able to operate all necessary tools and equipment to perform various projects.
• Adept at servicing commercial heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment, as well as related accessories.
• Demonstrated commitment to the delivery of customer-focused service.
• Must be able to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and production diagrams.
• The ability to work overtime and weekend hours as required.
• The successful incumbent must be able to meet the minimum requirements for our background check criteria.

Minimum Experience: 4+ years Minimum Education: High School Diploma/GED
