Job description

Commercial Service Technician

As a Commercial Mechanic, you will work at our Wilks Truck Center location providing light mechanical and tire services to the Commercial Trucking industry. Responsibilities include performing services on commercial trucks, RVs, and trailers, such as:

• Lube, oil change, filter service
• Alignments
• Front End Suspension
• Brakes & Air System
• DOT Annual Inspections
• Determining service requirements from drivers and communicating with the team
• Properly executing service tickets for management
• Responding to customer service calls, diagnosing issues, and performing repairs or replacements on-site
• Cleaning and maintaining service equipment
• Performing manual tasks, including lifting and handling tires and wheels
• Reporting safety issues immediately
• Maintaining a clean and organized shop
• Maintaining a professional appearance

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of commercial experience, including brakes, oil changes, front end work, and wheel alignments
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Own tools
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• DOT Inspector Certification
• ASE Certification
