Job summary

HORIZON BRADCO - A SMART CARE SOLUTIONS COMPANY is seeking a Commercial Service Installation Technician to provide expert service for commercial cooking, refrigeration, and warewashing equipment. You will work with restaurant and hospitality clients, diagnose issues, and deliver reliable repair solutions.

The role includes on-call rotations, travel to locations, and opportunities for advancement through CFESA certifications and ongoing training. A company vehicle is provided.

Qualifications

• One (1) year of technical experience with refrigeration, appliance repair, kitchen equipment, HVAC, or military service.
• Ability to be involved with emergency on-call rotation including nights and weekends.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record.

About the Role:

As a Service Technician, you will become a trusted advisor to your customers by consistently delivering innovative solutions to predict and prevent kitchen equipment failure, contributing to the success of thousands of restaurants, hotels, hospitals, and other commercial customers.

What Will Your Day Look Like:

• Partner with restaurant and hospitality managers to offer comprehensive service solutions for commercial cooking, refrigeration, warewashing, and other specialty food service equipment


• Demonstrate your mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and ability to read diagrams and schematics


• Drive your income through quarterly bonuses by meeting efficiency and productivity goals

Basic Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent


• A minimum of one (1) year of technical experience with refrigeration, appliance repair, kitchen equipment, HVAC, or military service


• Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record


• Willingness and ability to be involved with the emergency on-call rotation that includes nights and weekends


• Availability for occasional overnight travel as assigned

Minimum Qualifications & Requirements:

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and be at least 18 years of age.


• High school diploma or GED required.


• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record and ability to travel to customer locations.


• Experience with commercial service, installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, or related technical work.


• Ability to pass required background screenings and obtain customer-specific site clearances.


• Ability to safely lift equipment and work on ladders, rooftops, and active construction or commercial job sites.


• Commitment to OSHA safety standards, PPE requirements, and safe work practices.


• EPA Section 608 certification required for positions involving refrigeration systems.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to frequently kneel, bend, squat, push, pull, reach, and occasionally lift and carry up to 70 pounds


• Ability to work with moving mechanical parts, pressurized steam equipment, open flames, heated surfaces, liquids, and risk of electrical shock in damp, humid, or freezing conditions


• Ability to work on ladders, roofs, and in rare cases, high, precarious places
