Job summary

Facility Solutions Group, Inc. in Cincinnati, OH is seeking an Electrical Service Technician to diagnose and repair commercial electrical systems on site at customer locations.

You will travel to sites, troubleshoot, perform repairs, and install upgrades while keeping facilities operating safely. The role emphasizes independent work, strong diagnostic skills, and the ability to read blueprints; a 4+ year track record is preferred and apprenticeship training is a plus.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of commercial electrical experience.
• Apprenticeship training preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work from ladders, lifts, and rooftops.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot commercial electrical systems.
• Repair electrical equipment, lighting, controls, panels, and power distribution systems.
• Install new electrical equipment and complete service upgrades.
• Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections.
• Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and electrical schematics.
• Communicate professionally with customers while providing outstanding service.
• Complete service documentation and work orders accurately.
• Follow NEC requirements and company safety standards.
