• Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues in commercial environments.
• Interact professionally with customers, providing clear explanations of issues and solutions.
• Communicate effectively with the office and customers to ensure smooth job completion.
• Understand and apply electrical codes for proper installation of all electrical devices.
• Report material needs and obstacles to the Service Manager.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and report any concerns.
• Participate in the emergency/on-call rotation as needed.

Qualifications

• Education:High school diploma or GED; Journeyperson license required (Maryland), DC and VA licenses preferred or can obtain one in the next 6 months
• Experience: 5+ years of commercial electrical experience in multi-family construction.
• Technical Skills:
  • Ability to use power tools, ladders, and cable cutters.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical troubleshooting and repair.
  • Familiarity with electronic devices for job updates and communication.
• Physical Requirements:Ability to stand, bend, crawl, climb, push, pull, and reach overhead for extended periods.
• Additional Requirements:
  • Valid Driver License and an insurable driving record.
  • Willingness to participate in emergency/on-call rotations.
  • Must be willing to undergo a background check and drug screening.
