Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in a highly analytical role.
• Proven track record of structuring and solving complex problems.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with data analysis tools (PowerPI, Tableau).
• Familiarity with directly managing customer relationships.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, written and verbal.
• Prior exposure to the transportation, logistics, or technology industry (preferred).

About the role:

The Commercial Senior Analyst is a highly collaborative, strategic function within Gatik. As part of the commercial team, you will leverage strong quantitative skills, strategic thinking and creativity to formulate short‑ and long‑term growth plans for the company. You will work across functions and help the team meet its broad mandate, often taking ownership of projects and communicating with customers, vendors and senior executives.

What you’ll do:

• Structure complex problems, analyze large amounts of data, and deliver insights and recommendations to the Gatik leadership team.
• Conduct research and analysis of industry, company, customer, and channel data to support market assessment and identify key trends and opportunities.
• Communicate analysis and recommendations to stakeholders, including external senior executives, by preparing presentations and identifying actionable insights.
• Perform quantitative analyses, including the development of complex financial models, to evaluate and implement strategic options.
• Interface and collaborate with other groups within Gatik and external stakeholders to collect and compile information in support of business development.
• Support the Commercial Team in planning and execution of key initiatives.
• Other duties as may be required.

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Data Analytics) or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in a highly analytical role (consulting, investment banking, strategic planning, business intelligence).
• Proven track record of structuring and solving complex business problems.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint and experience with data analysis tools (e.g., PowerPI, Tableau).
• Familiarity with directly managing customer relationships.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
• Prior exposure to the transportation, logistics, or technology industry (preferred).
