Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Commercial Installer in Omaha to install and program integrated security fire and security systems on-site for commercial clients. You will dismantle and reassemble equipment as needed, following diagrams and procedures while ensuring safety and quality.

You will verify schedules with customers, prepare estimates per supervisor directions, and help mentor junior team members on larger projects. A valid technical background and strong service mindset are required.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of electrical/electronic equipment experience.
• Experience reading blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specs.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools and drive a fleet vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Install devices and dismantle/reconstruct equipment per customer needs.
• Follow wiring diagrams and hookup procedures; test system.
• Coordinate installations with police/fire and manage records for emergency calls.
• Coach and mentor less experienced installers.
