Responsibilities

As an Account Manager, you will understand Orkin’s products and services and how to sell them to various industries. You will make strategic recommendations to new and existing customers to prevent pests, ensure safety and quality, and meet regulatory standards. Building trusted relationships, listening to customer needs, and explaining practical solutions will be key to your success.

You will:

  • Prioritize safety in all responsibilities
  • Conduct yourself professionally and with integrity
  • Serve as an empathetic problem solver, utilizing training to recommend the best solutions
  • Achieve sales goals through prospecting and lead management
  • Use marketing tools to develop new business
  • Conduct inspections of commercial properties (training provided)
  • Make recommendations based on inspections and address customer questions
  • Use provided tools like iPads for sales and organization (training provided)

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • No prior experience required; sales experience preferred
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to obtain pesticide license/certification (company paid)
  • Ability to work independently in the field and interact with clients

Physical Demands / Working Conditions:

Candidates must meet physical requirements and perform duties safely, with or without accommodations, including:

  • Using ladders safely within weight limits
  • Lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Accessing crawl spaces, attics, rooftops, etc., including climbing and balancing
  • Wearing PPE, including respirators
  • Working in various weather conditions
