Job summary

AutoZone is seeking a Commercial Specialist in Midland, TX to drive WOW! customer service and boost commercial sales while coordinating order fulfillment and delivery.

The role blends customer service, sales support, and logistics, with opportunities to lead and grow within the department. You will assist commercial customers, manage billing and deliveries, build relationships through site visits, and pursue new business via calls and in-person outreach while upholding safety and company

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills.

• Familiarity with billing, inventory, and delivery processes.

• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist commercial customers with product selection and order management.
• Maintain accurate billing records and ensure on-time deliveries.
• Conduct account visits to build relationships and ensure service quality.
• Generate new business through inbound calls and in-person outreach.
• Follow cash handling procedures, including deposits and collections.
• Document and inspect all deliveries for accuracy and condition.
• Monitor and report on vehicle maintenance and safety.
• Manage battery consignment inventory and perform weekly stock checks.
• Lead the commercial department in the absence of the Commercial Sales Manager.
• Promote a safe and compliant work environment for all team members.
