Job summary

Tremco Construction Products Group (CPG) is seeking a Commercial Roofing Superintendent to manage large-scale roofing projects and customer accounts. You will coordinate subcontractors, read plans, monitor safety, and communicate efficiently with customers and internal teams to ensure projects meet specifications and budgets.

Responsibilities include developing schedules, monitoring progress, and upholding Tremco and WTI standards while traveling within the assigned region as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing commercial and industrial roofing construction projects.
• Ability to lead field crews and subcontractors while delivering on schedule and budget.
• Strong knowledge of roofing systems, construction practices, scheduling, and QC.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specs, contracts and project docs.
• Excellent communication, organizational and problem solving skills.

• Willingness and ability to travel within the assigned region.

• Coordinate field inspections and ensure timely corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with contract documents, specs, codes, and regulatory requirements.
• Serve as primary field liaison between subcontractors, customers, owners, and internal stakeholders.
• Resolve issues and conflicts while ensuring work meets specifications and standards.
• Prepare status reports and updates for management and customers.
• Foster strong customer relationships and high satisfaction throughout projects.
• Maintain a culture of safety and compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Travel throughout the assigned region as necessary.

JOB DESCRIPTION Commercial Roofing SuperintendentThe Commercial Roofing Superintendent is responsible for managing assigned special projects and customer accounts, including General Contractor (GC) projects, large-scale Patch & Repair work, TremCare programs, and other service-related initiatives. This role collaborates closely with Project Managers, Technical Representatives, field personnel, and customers to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with contract requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Schedule, coordinate, and manage subcontractors to support project execution and completion.
• Oversee all phases of assigned projects to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project schedules and budgets.
• Interpret and implement project administration requirements, contract specifications, and company standards.
• Develop, maintain, and update project schedules, ensuring milestones and deadlines are achieved.
• Monitor project progress and proactively identify and resolve scheduling, quality, or operational challenges.
• Manage project quality control processes and ensure adherence to Tremco and WTI standards.
• Coordinate and schedule required field inspections and ensure timely completion of corrective actions when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with contract documents, project specifications, applicable building codes, and regulatory requirements.
• Serve as the primary field liaison between subcontractors, customers, owners, and internal stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and project coordination.

The hourly rate for applicants in this position generally ranges between $35 and $45.
