Roof Systems of Maine, a Tecta America Company, is seeking motivated individuals to join our commercial roofing crew in Bangor, ME. As a Commercial Roofing Sheet Metal Mechanic you will fabricate and install sheet metal on various roof systems, assist with tear-offs of gutters and coping caps, and complete assigned tasks with the team.

Candidates should have 2–3 years of sheet metal roofing experience, be able to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders up to 40 feet, and work in heat or cold; a valid

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of commercial sheet metal roofing experience.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly and perform bending, kneeling, and climbing.
• Comfort with climbing ladders up to 40 feet and heights.
• Ability to work in extreme heat and sub-zero cold.
• Valid driver's license is preferred; teamwork oriented.

Commercial Roofing Sheet Metal Mechanic Summary:

Responsible for fabrication and installation of all sheet metal on various commercial roof systems. You will be working with the roofing crew to complete all aspects of assigned job including tear‑off of existing gutters and coping cap, installations, and other tasks assigned.

Commercial Roofing Sheet Metal Mechanic Requirements

• 2-3 years commercial experience sheet metal roofing.
• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs. regularly, repeated bending, climbing, kneeling
• Must be able to climb a ladder 40', No fear of heights
• Must be able to work in the heat and sub‑zero cold
• Valid driver's license is ideal
• Must work well in a team environment
