Job summary

Roof Systems of Maine, a Tecta America Company, is seeking motivated individuals for a Commercial Roofing Sheet Metal Mechanic role in Bangor, ME. You will fabricate and install sheet metal on commercial roof systems, collaborating with the roofing crew to complete tear-off, installations, and related tasks.

Candidates should have 2–3 years of commercial sheet metal roofing experience, be able to lift 50+ lbs, climb a 40' ladder, work in heat and cold, and work well in a team.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years commercial sheet metal roofing experience.
• Lift 50+ lbs regularly; bending, climbing, kneeling.
• Climb a 40' ladder; no fear of heights.
• Work in heat and sub-zero cold.
• Valid driver’s license is ideal.
• Team environment skills are essential.

Commercial Roofing Sheet Metal Mechanic Summary:

Responsible for fabrication and installation of all sheet metal on various commercial roof systems. You will be working with the roofing crew to complete all aspects of assigned job including tear-off of existing gutters and coping cap, installations, and other tasks assigned.

Commercial Roofing Sheet Metal Mechanic Requirements:

• 2-3 years commercial experience sheet metal roofing.
• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs. regularly, repeated bending, climbing, kneeling
• Must be able to climb a ladder 40', No fear of heights
• Must be able to work in the heat and sub-zero cold
• Valid driver's license is ideal
• Must work well in a team environment
