Position Objective: The Service Operations Technician I contributes to the efficient delivery of roofing services in the Commercial & Multi-Family Service Division. Responsibilities include diagnosing and resolving roof leaks, emergency repairs, installing roofing materials, conducting inspections, collaborating with project managers, and providing technical support. The goal is to uphold quality workmanship, safety, customer satisfaction, and accurate record-keeping, supporting the division's success and reputation.

Job Responsibilities & Requirements

• Diagnose and resolve roof leaks on various commercial roof systems.
• Perform emergency roof repairs.
• Install roofing materials in accordance with industry standards, including metal flashings.
• Conduct routine roof inspections and recommend maintenance.
• Assist in installing new roofing systems, including membrane, metal, and shingle roofs.
• Enter project findings and photos into CenterPoint Connect / CRM software.
• Maintain fleet requirements: vehicle cleanliness, inventory, safe driving, and maintenance.
• Collaborate with project managers on repair plans and schedules.
• Maintain accurate work records, including materials, labor hours, and updates.
• Provide technical support and share best practices with team members.
• Adhere to safety protocols and OSHA standards, including PPE use.
• Stay informed about industry trends, materials, and technologies through training and certifications.
• Assist in maintaining inventory levels of roofing materials and equipment.
• Respond promptly to service calls and emergencies, demonstrating flexibility.
• Uphold quality workmanship and customer service through professionalism and attention to detail.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Minimum 3 years of commercial roofing experience.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Ability to work from various heights.
• Proficient in safety protocols and procedures.
• Ability to identify and document roof deficiencies.
• Good communication skills and professional appearance.
• Experience with CRM software.
• Bilingual skills preferred.
