Job summary

Tecta America Commercial Roofing is hiring a Commercial Roofing Service Technician for Williston, VT. This role focuses on locating and repairing leaks in EPDM, PVC, TPO, BUR, and metal systems, while managing projects from start to finish and ensuring craftsmanship.

Paid training and opportunities for advancement exist; Spanish speaking candidates are welcome. Pay starts at $20+ per hour, BOE, with local travel and field work.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 2+ years experience leading commercial roofing crews.
• Must have a valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Must be able to lift 50+ pounds regularly.
• Must be able to work at varying heights and in different weather conditions.
• Ability to communicate well with clients, supervisor and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Removal and installation of BUR, Modified Bitumen, TPO, EPDM, PVC and slope (tile/shingles).
• Roof maintenance and repairs.
• Perform work in accordance with job specifications and safety guidelines.
• Maintain professional interaction with all customers.
• Complete required paperwork and attend meetings; train crew as needed.

Commercial Roofing Service Technician Summary

You will be responsible for investigating, locating and repairing leaks and defects in the following commercial roofing systems EPDM, PVC, TPO, Built-up Roofing and low slope metal. You would manage commercial roofing projects from start to finish and ensure the highest level of craftsmanship.

Commercial Roofing Service Technician Responsibilities

• Removal and installation of all types of roof systems including: BUR, Modified Bitumen, TPO, EPDM, PVC and slope (tile/shingles)
• Roof maintenance and repairs
• Perform work in accordance with job specifications and safety guidelines.
• Maintain professional interaction with all customers.
• Completing required paperwork, attending meetings as necessary, assist in training of crew members as needed
