Job summary

Childers Roofing, a Tecta America company, in Jacksonville, FL, is seeking an experienced Commercial Service Technician to join our team. You will investigate, locate and repair leaks across EPDM, PVC, TPO, BUR, Modified Bitumen and metal roofs, under the supervision of the service crew leader.

You will remove and install roof systems, perform maintenance and repairs, and ensure safety guidelines are followed while interacting professionally with customers.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• 1+ years leading commercial roofing crews.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Able to lift 50+ pounds regularly.
• Able to work at varying heights and weather conditions.
• Strong communication with clients, supervisor and crew.

Responsibilities

• Remove and install all types of commercial roof systems (BUR, Modified Bitumen, TPO, EPDM, PVC, slope metal).
• Perform roof maintenance and repairs.
• Follow job specifications and safety guidelines.
• Maintain professional interaction with customers.
• Help manage roofing crew, complete paperwork, attend meetings, assist training as needed.

Commercial Roofing Service Technician Summary

You will be working under the service crew leader and investigating, locating and repairing leaks and defects in the following commercial roofing systems EPDM, PVC, TPO, Built-up Roofing, Modified Bitumen, and low slope metal.

Commercial Roofing Service Technician Responsibilities

• Removal and installation of all types of commercial roof systems including: BUR, Modified Bitumen, TPO, EPDM, PVC and slope metal roof systems
• Roof maintenance and repairs
• Perform work in accordance with job specifications and safety guidelines.
• Maintain professional interaction with all customers.
• Manage commercial roofing crew, includes completing required paperwork, attending meetings as necessary, assist in training of crew members as needed

Commercial Roofing Service Technician Requirements
