Service Technician

Position Identification
Non-Exempt
Reports to: The Service Technician is accountable to and derives authority from the Lead Service Technician.
Position Objective
The primary function of the Service Technician is to assist the Lead Service Technician in completing repairs according to manufacturer specifications and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Job Functions:
- Inspect trucks, maintain cleanliness, and manage inventory of materials, tools, equipment, and hardware needed for daily tasks.
- Set up and utilize safety procedures effectively.
- Learn about different roofing systems, their components, materials, and tools used for repairs.
- Use materials and tools appropriately to perform repairs.
- Assume responsibilities in the absence of the Lead Service Technician.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience (Essential)
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Working knowledge or experience with various roof system types.
- Willingness to learn diagnosis and repair of all roof systems.
- Ability to work collaboratively with fellow technicians and lead technicians.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience (Desirable)
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Knowledge of roofing details, manufacturer specifications, and repair procedures as outlined by NRCA.
- Proficiency with Tablets and software such as Microsoft AX / Field Service Administration.

Working Conditions
Physical environment includes exposure to heights, noise, dangerous objects, and temperature variations.

Travel is rare.
