Job summary

JB Roofing, a Tecta America commercial roofing company, seeks a Commercial Roofing Service Tech I in Worthington, OH. You will lead the service crew, inspect and repair leaks across EPDM, PVC, TPO, Built‑up, Modified Bitumen, and metal roofs, and drive projects from start to finish with a focus on craftsmanship.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of crew leadership, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift 50+ pounds while working in varying heights and weather conditions.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience leading commercial roofing crews.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Bilingual a plus; English and Spanish.
• Must be able to lift 50+ pounds regularly.
• Ability to work at varying heights and weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Roof maintenance and repairs.
• Investigate, locate, and repair leaks and defects in various roofing systems.
• Manage commercial roofing crew, complete paperwork, attend meetings, assist in training.
• Ensure highest level of craftsmanship and customer interaction.

JB Roofing, A Tecta America Company is currently searching for a commercial roofing service tech I at our Worthington, OH location

You will be the service crew’s leader and responsible for investigating, locating and repairing leaks and defects in the following commercial roofing systems EPDM, PVC, TPO, Built‑up Roofing, Modified Bitumen, and low slope metal. You would manage commercial roofing projects from start to finish and ensure the highest level of craftsmanship.

Commercial Roofing Service Tech I Responsibilities

• Roof maintenance and repairs
• Perform work in accordance with job specifications and safety guidelines.
• Maintain professional interaction with all customers.
• Manage commercial roofing crew, includes completing required paperwork, attending meetings as necessary, assist in training of crew members as needed

Commercial Roofing Service Tech I Core Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• 2+ years experience leading commercial roofing crews
• A valid driver's license
• Bilingual a plus!, English and Spanish
• Must be able to lift 50+ pounds regularly
• Must be able to work at varying heights and during variety of weather conditions
• Ability to communicate well with clients, supervisors, and co-workers.
