Job summary

Tecta America Corporation in Deer Park, NY is seeking a Service Lead Technician to oversee roofing projects from inception to completion. You will investigate leaks, coordinate crews, and ensure top craftsmanship on commercial roof systems including BUR, Modified Bitumen, TPO, EPDM and PVC.

Compensation starts at $30+ per hour and depends on experience. Applicants must have 5+ years of commercial roofing experience, a valid driver's license, and the physical ability to lift 50+ pounds and work

Responsibilities

• Investigate, locate and repair leaks and defects in roofing systems.

• Perform maintenance, repairs and installations of BUR, Modified Bitumen, TPO, EPDM, PVC and slope roofs.

You will be responsible for investigating, locating and repairing leaks and defects in the following commercial roofing systems EPDM, PVC, TPO, Built-up Roofing and low slope metal. You would manage commercial roofing projects from start to finish and ensure the highest level of craftsmanship. Duties and Responsibilities

• Roof maintenance and repairs
• Maintain professional interaction with all customers
• Manage commercial roofing systems, includes completing required paperwork, attending meetings as necessary, assist in training of crew members as needed
• Perform work in accordance with job specifications and safety guidelines
• Removal and installation of all types of roof systems including: BUR, Modified Bitumen, TPO, EPDM, PVC and slope (tiles/shingles)

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• 5+ years experience working on commercial roofing systems
• A valid driver's license
• Must be able to lift 50+ pounds regularly
• Must be able to work at varying heights and during variety of weather conditions
• Ability to communicate well with clients, supervisor and co-workers.
